Michel Forest

Michel Forest has three hectares of vines at Vergisson, the highest of the 5 villages in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, where the microclimate is marginally cooler and the soil less chalky than in the others. Michel's best wine comes from the 1.2-hectare lieu-dit, Les Crays. The wine is barrel fermented and then matured in oak casks for 10 months.

Michel is definitely the best grower in Vergisson and one of the very best in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation.
