Château Toutigeac

This property at Targon in the Entre-Deux-Mers is owned by Monsieur Mazeau-Hautbois. There are 40 hectares of vineyards planted with both red and white grape varieties and the red wine is a blend of 60% Cabernet Franc, 25% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinification methods are ultra modern and the red wine is soft, fruit driven, and very well balanced.

The wines are delicious when young but remain eminently drinkable for up to 5 years after the vintage.
