Undoubtedly one of the wines of the vintage despite the failure of its Cabernet Franc. Unusually the '98 blend is 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Richly concentrated, this wine displays both wonderful purity of fruit and a fine expression of terroir.
