1998 Quinta do Vesuvio

This is a magnificent, ripe, fruit-packed vintage Port from a grand quinta, deep in the Douro valley. Quinta de Vesuvio is owned by the Symington group who are responsible for a host of famous ports including Graham, Dow and Warre. With the fruit still trodden by foot in traditional stone lagares, in 1998 Vesuvio has yielded a port with all the serious class of its Vintage siblings.
