Dark purple colour with intense flavours of ripe black fruit, cedar, and rich, toasty oak. Lush and full-bodied with a very long finish, this really is enticing. Though traditional in style the abundance of Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) in the blend has created an extremely hedonistic wine.

"A fine blackberry and raspberry nose with good definition and fruit concentration. Quite reserved and understated but that is an attractive quality here. The palate is very pure with good delineation and acidity, great harmony and cohesion with a solid mass of fruit at its heart. Blackberry, cassis, wild hedgerow with a touch of blueberry towards the finish. This has a nice lightness of touch that belies its ageing potential. Excellent. Drink 2010-2025. Tasted October 2007."
