Classic Vosne nose with plenty of still quite primary, earthy, wonderfully
spicy pinot fruit is followed by deep rich flavors that are well structured but
not hard. Rouget's Vosne-Romanée, Cros-Parentoux is still very young but
balanced and dense. Superb potential. Some bottle variation noted though two
other recent bottles matched this description exactly.
