Emilin Solera Reserva Moscatel Lustau, Jerez (Xerex)
|
|
From the Solera Reserva range this is a fine example of the Moscatel grape. A
hugely versatile variety, fizzy in Asti, full and musky in Alsace, Moscatel is
the Iberian manifestation of Muscat. Here it is given centre billing and
glories in expressive sweetness, with raisins and marmalade evidenced, finely
toned and clean, and crisp of texture. An outstanding alternative to the
flor-driven Finos or the nuttier Olorosos that never loses sight of the famous
grapiness of the variety.
