Ethereal nose of sweet grassy notes, clove and white flowers move onto heavier, perhaps more old-fashioned flavours of spice, mandarin and liquorice on the palate. There is something that reminds me of red jelly babies as well, so great for grumpy old men and young things alike!
(Nicola Gilbert - BBR London Shop Sales)
One of the greatest malts, Mortlach carries all the classic flavours of Speyside whiskies with abundance and panache. The distillery was the first in Dufftown to be granted a license (1824) and has long associations with Johnnie Walker blends.
