It's taken us a long time to find the right one but I'm delighted to say our Pauillac is back! What's even more exciting is this is, hands down, the best Pauillac we have ever found to take under our own label. Rich and unctuous on the palate with that beautiful freshness, charm and class of this commune, it has an extremely long and satisfying finish.
Delicious now after an hour and a half in a decanter, this will be drinking to perfection over the coming winter, yet will undoubtedly last another five years without breaking a sweat. Sadly, we could only buy a very small amount of this great juice from this vintage and if I told you where we bought it from we'd get Lynched on our next trip... I hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Any of you looking for a classy Christmas claret - heavy on the Cabernet Sauvignon grape with a dollop of Merlot and dash of Cabernet Franc - from Bordeaux's swankiest commune should tuck into this delicious ready-to-drink 2008, a good vintage with firm, cedary blackcurranty fruit.
