2003 Ch. Climens, Barsac

Grace and elegance is undoubtedly the trademark of Ch. Climens whose wines combine the rich, luscious character of great Sauternes with an inner core of citrussy acidity. The 2003 harvest had possibly more botrytis and richness than this estate has seen before. The result is the sweetest and most concentrated Climens ever. On tasting the lots in her cellars, before assemblage, owner Bérénice Lurton said, “It becomes more and more obvious that the wine is fantastic.”
