With the highest proportion of Cabernet Franc in any Bordeaux wine at this
level, the vineyard of Le Dome is expertly constructed under the stewardship of
Jonathan Malthus of Ch. Teyssier. The average age of the vines is around 60
years and this imparts considerable complexity to this linear and focussed
wine. Few Bordeaux wines undergo such a rigorous selection process, resulting
in a truly impressive 1999 vintage, that is approachable with air now but that
will keep for many years to come. Sit back and enjoy the complexity and purity
of great Cabernet Franc.
