Right from that first visit to the small family domain in Crezancy-en-Sancerre
in 2002 it was clear that young David Sautereau's 'Sancerre Blanc', with its
refined, fresh nettle & flint aromatics and generous, mouthfilling, crunchy
stone-fruit flavours, was the perfect candidate for the Berrys' Own Selection
range. Since then David has continued to deliver, come rain or shine,
faithfully conveying the region's singular terroir while meeting the
expectations of his ever-demanding customers. Delicious on its own, alongside
goats' cheese or with some smoked fish. Bravo David!.
