2005 Ch. Marsau, Côtes de Francs
(code: 62105B)
We are delighted to offer this beautiful wine again En Primeur. We are not sure
we agree with Mr Parker on his comparison to the most expensive wine in
Bordeaux however it is delicious! The 2000 and 2001 are both drinking
beautifully at the moment and we are sure the 2005 is even better.
Made predominantly from Merlot, the pure ripe tannins in this wine provide a lovely backbone to the ripe blackcurrant and cherry fruit. This region could be one of the next big things in Bordeaux so pick up a case or two to stay ahead of the game. Early drinking too, 2008-2015.
