2005 Berrys' Extra Ordinary Claret

We bought this almost 4 years ago (when we actually had a currency!) and its been sitting at the Chateau ever since slowly maturing until now. I'm delighted to say that the greatest vintage of our 'Extra Ordinary Claret' , the legendary 2005, is finally here and ready to be quaffed.

Made for us by the same team as Ch. Lynch Bages, this is, by far, the best Bordeaux we can find at this price and we are extremely proud of it. Classic in style but with a generosity and flair that only great wine makers can craft from a magnificent vintage.

It has lovely exuberance on the nose with a terrific, dense, powerful palate, with a great follow through. Do try to get it open or even better into a decanter for 30 mins to an hour, abating your enthusiasm to tuck in to it, and serve at an old fashioned room temperature to get the most out of this extraordinary claret.
