Springbank 10 yrs 100 Proof Campbelltown

Springbank 10 yrs 100 Proof is Springbank's expression in its purest form. Matured predominately in American oak casks, the character of the distillery is laid before you in all it’s naked glory. Try it with and without water - it’s a totally different taste experience! On the nose, dried apricots notes move on to a buttery toffee and marzipan sensation, finishing with a slight smokiness. The palate is very full bodied and rich, evocative of sweet oakiness.  After the addition of water the whisky becomes almost floral in taste, whilst still maintaining a honeyed woodiness. On the finish,  lingering sweetness complimented by a hint of smoke.
