Hazelburn 8 Year Old Springbank Distillery, Campbeltown

Hazelburn is the most recent single malt to be distilled at the iconic Springbank distillery in Campbeltown. In addition to the original Springbank ‘classic,’ the heavily peated Longrow has been produced since 1973, while Hazelburn, named after another Campbeltown distillery closed since 1925, was introduced in 1996. It is triple distilled and the malt is dried using only hot air, with no peat.The maturation takes place entirely in Bourbon casks, which imparts intense floral aromas and sweet notes of vanilla and fresh fruits.
