The Glenrothes Select Reserve

John Ramsay, the Malt Master of Glenrothes, has crafted a selection of The Glenrothes which typifies the distillery house character - ripe fruits, citrus, vanilla and hints of spice. The Select Reserve is a first, a non-Vintage-specific selection carefully chosen by John and produced to the same high quality standards as The Glenrothes Vintage selections; only here he selects and vats from casks from different years. Pale gold in colour, with a bouquet of American oak, vanilla and coconut, with the mearest hint of plums. The palate is full and malty, medium sweet, with vanilla and orange zest.

One of the softest deliveries in Speyside, the silky barley and citrus caress the tastebuds with rare tenderness. A drop of honey assists.
