2004 Sheridan Vineyard Cab. Sauvignon Andrew Will, Washington State
Washington State's Cabernet blends must be one of the fine wine world's best kept secrets, combining exuberant fruit expression, scintillating acidity and fine tannin structures for early, medium and long term ageing! But sshh!, please don't tell anyone as there's simply not enough to go around.A newly-planted vineyard, the Sheridan, has uphold its promise for greatness from the very beginning.

The wine is complex with a compelling earthiness added to the usual plum and currant flavours. It may well in time be the perfect compliment to its two cousins Ciel and Champoux. Chris Carmada, the winemaker, believes that with the 2004 vintage the vineyard has shown that it can fulfill its potential. The middle palate  is soft and succulent leading to a well defined  finish.
