"Currently everyones favourite white grape variety, thanks largely to New Zealands recent love-affair. This is a fabulous, good value example of a single-site wine from the home of Pinot Gris: Alsace. From a top vintage, this off-dry style is terrific. Thanks to its cool, elevated location and sheltered south-west exposition, this single-vineyard Pinot Gris has maintained a refreshingly high level of nervy acidity to balance out the 10 grams of residual sugar. A gentle, delicate weave of pure comice pear & beeswax honey, with crunchy stony flavours on the finish. Serve with a creamy, morel mushroom sauce & chicken dish." (David Berry Green, BBR Buyer)
