From this fine Barbaresco producer and excellent vintage, this is an eclectic,
yet no-less accomplished take on the great wines of Alba, blending Nebbiolo
(for breed), Barbera (for succulence) and even a dash of Cabernet (for..!) to
give a compact black & red cherry tapenade perfumed wine, of medium/full
body with a black bitter cherry coulis texture, a layer of sweetness and a
veneer of classy new french oak. Impressive, for drinking now till 2012,
perfect with feathered game of any genre.
