2004 Nuits-St.Georges, Clos des Fourches Domaine J.F. Mugnier
(code: 64617B)
"When Frédéric Mugnier took back his familys holding of the Clos de la
Maréchale vineyard (leased to Faiveley for the preceding 50 years) in 2004, he
decided to produce two wines for the first vintage. The Clos des Fourches is
made from the barrels which offered a more supple style of wine with pleasing
red fruit and few tannins. It is a delicious expression of early drinking Nuits
St Georges with nonetheless an impressive length of flavour"
