2004 Domaine Spiropoulos, Dorkas Vin de Pays Peloponnese
From the mountainous vineyards in Nemea region, the skillful vinification of the indigenous Agiorgitiko variety (12 months in casks, 5 months in bottle) produces a mature wine with deep red colour and a nose of red berry fruits as well as vanilla and spicy oak. The palate is rich in fruit and balanced with soft tannins and a long finish. Drinks now and over the next year.
