2005 Vale da Clara, Douro, Red Quinta de la Rosa
(code: 64967B)
The Vale da Clara is fashioned in the same style as its more substantial
sibbling, Quinta de la Rosa Red, yet with less oak (hence showing more purity
of fruit) and a softer, more approachable character. This is a fresh, vibrant
wine, oozing with redberry fruit, ideal for every day drinking and an excellent
accompaniment to red meats in red sauce, or even chicken curries.
