Selected for us from Dow's, this shows some of that House's characteristic
crispness in its fruit with soft tannins. Perfect for the sideboard over
the Christmas holidays - for occasional sips. It will last once opened for
a week no problem. (Tom Cave, Berrys' Cellar Plan Manager)
A very fine bottled matured port from the house of Dow; a blend of three
different vintages (1997, 1998 and 1999) that have been allowed to marry for
three years in cask and then have had another three years in bottle before
release. With the power and complexity of a vintage port, the wine boasts rich
red berry flavours with a spicy backdrop and spirit that is so well integrated
that the sweetness is perfectly and harmoniously balanced.
