"This is a very well balanced Chassagne Montrachet with a perfectly judged use
of oak to complement the stylish fruit. It should be very food friendly,
accompanying chicken, veal or rabbit equally well. Or perhaps a filet mignon of
pork, served in its own juices. Jean-Yves has superbly judged the use of oak in
this delicious village wine, thereby adding a faint toastiness to the rich,
silky fruit. A stylish example from one of the three great villages for white
Burgundy, from the great 2006 vintage."
