The wines from Clos Windsbuhl tend to be delicate but with great balancing
acidity and 2005 was an exceptional vintage for this vineyard. With the grapes
reaching perfect ripeness and noble rot transforming the grapes into rich,
sweet berries, this is arguably the pick of the crop. The palate is tight,
compact and packed with seductive notes of honey and apricot, but there is also
an immense raciness and minerality showing huge potential for the years to
come. Drink 2010-2025.
