Perfectly complementary to his better-known Burgundies, this
Moulin-à-Vent is the fruit of extensive investigations to locate the
optimal terroir in Beaujolais. We reckon that Olivier may well have found it!
Powerful cassis notes are followed by concentrated dark berry flavours. This is
completely irresistible.

Oliver Merlin's brilliant Beaujolais have popped up in this column
before. This is rich, plump, plummy gamay with lots of fine juicy, summer
pudding fruit comes from a great vintage, 2005, and it shows.
