Auchentoshan, to the west of Glasgow, is produced by triple distillation, a
method once traditional to the Scottish Lowland malt whiskies. This malt is
soft, subtle and sweet; a very approachable style. The nose offers rich grassy
notes with traces of macadamia and liquorice. The tongue-coating vibrant palate
builds cleanly to divulge buttery, toasty and grassy flavours. There is more
liquorice leading into the rounded grassy, dry finish.
