"Named after the co-owner Paul Champoux, this vineyard was planted in 1972 on
free draining sandy loam soils. Arguably fuller, rounder & riper than the
04, this 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet Franc, 30% Merlot, 5% Petit
Verdot, with an average of 25 years vine age has been matured for 21 months in
35% new french barrels. The wine is laced with blueberry, blackberry & tar
notes; Drinking now but it will age until 2015 easily."

Andrew Will wines have become real favourites here among Berrys’ staff.
They enjoy the way they exhibit both New World fruity exuberance together with
more than a degree of classy sinew more often associated with the Bordeaux
behemoths.
