Australia's twist on Côte-Rôtie, this 2005 Shiraz contains a small proportion
of Viognier and Marsanne, and has great structure and depth with noticeably
fine, silky tannins. Seductive, yet with refreshing acidity, this wine is all
about elegance and purity of fruit; a far cry from the sweet, rich wines of the
Barossa. Needs time in bottle to reveal its full glory.
"..Velvety-textured and seamless on the palate, it brilliantly combines elegance and power. There is superior depth, great harmony, and a very long, pure finish. It can be enjoyed now but its impeccable balance will carry it for 20-25 years."
(Jay Miller - Wine Advocate - Oct-2007)
