2006 Muscat de Rivesaltes, Pietri-Geraud

This charming Muscat de Riversaltes is known as a Vin Doux Naturel (a rather confusing nomenclature as it is not in point of fact natural, having been fortified by a process known as 'mutage') and is made from mainly Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains but also a little Muscat d'Alexandre. This wine has elegance and a balletic turn, in the manner of its creator.
