2001 Barolo, Cru La Serra, Marcarini, La Morra
|
|
Marcarini’s 2001 Barolo La Serra a rich ruby, is darker in color than the
Brunate. It displays an intriguing nose of flowers, sweet fruit, menthol and
roasted coffee beans. There is good follow through onto the palate which is
endowed with plenty of ripe sweet fruit and tar flavors, showing the more
aggressive tannins that are the hallmark of this site.
