Poit Dhubh, pronounced "potch ghoo" and literally meaning "black pot", is also
the gaelic term for an "illicit still". Unchilfiltered, partly matured in
sherry casks that impart softness and subtle sweetness which intermingles with
a whiff of peatiness. The 21 y.o. has been awarded silver medal at both the
International Spirits Challenge and the International Spirits Competition in
2002 and 2004. Attractively fruity and enjoyably soft.
