" Since 2004 Jean-Claude Bessin has separated out his best parcel of the
Fourchaume vineyard, a section of old vines which used to belong to the local
landlord, le comte. This is unusually lush for Chablis but still bears the
authentic steel underneath the flesh. Part of the cuvee has been barrel aged."
