2006 Chassagne-Montrachet Rouge, Morgeot 1er Cru, Jean-Noel Gagnard
(code: 67894B)
Pure and refined cherry notes persist across the palate of this elegant,
stylish red Chassagne which comes from three different sectors of the large
Premier Cru Morgeot vineyard. Caroline has chosen to preserve the purity of the
fruit rather than to extract more body and with it harsher tannins and this is
reflected by the wonderful red-fruit intensity of her wine.
