Briailles's Pernand-Vergelesses, Ile de Vergelesses is still in a youthful
stage of its development, showing firm, very pure dark fruits backed with
tannins that promise potential to develop very well - but I wouldn't hesitate
to try now before it closes down. Lovely purity to it.

A wealth of elegant strawberry fruit fills the palate and is supplemented by a freshening touch of raspberry, giving enough depth and concentration of fruit to support the fine tannins. With a lovely, clear, bright colour now, this will put on weight over the years.
