2006 Bourgogne Blanc, Patrice et Michèle Rion (Stelvin)
(code: 68288B)
Patrice Rion buys in grapes from two biodynamic producers, Didier Montchovet
and Jean-Claude Rateau. The juice is fermented in large oak barrels before
bottling with screwcap closures. Clear, bright and fresh fruit is evident from
the start and there is impressive weight for a basic Bourgogne Blanc. This
certainly delivers.
