High altitude imbues wines from this domaine at Vinsobres with a delightful freshness and vivacity, and here an eclectic array of white grape varieties combine to form a stunning blend. Roussanne and Viognier provide aroma , Grenache Blanc body and substance, while Bourboulenc and Picpoul provide vital acidity.

Marsanne and Viognier take the lead in a fine performance which also features Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, Bourboulenc and Picpoul, pretty much the who’s-who of Mediterranean white varieties. La Cadène, Côtes du Rhône Villages is appropriately complex, with a palate profile of figs, nougat and hints of exotic fruit.
