The first sniff of this superb wine instantly betrays its Burgundian origins, a hint of earth at first is backed up by muted notes of kirsch and dried spice. Although a fairly light style it is by no means lightweight, holding its own with serious, savoury undertones. A great match for lamb or fantastic for a picnic on a cloudy afternoon!
