Syrah predominates here, with 15% Mourvèdre and 10% Grenache. A de facto
'second wine' described by Réné Rostaing as 'gourmand', this is
silky, rounded and immediately seductive; hints of garrigue and autumnal earth
underpin the attractive hedgerow fruits; all in all a most pleasing landscape.
Softer, with less oak ageing, a more approachable wine, more immediately Syrah
than the more senior 05.
