An unctuous and extremely proficient Viognier from M Rostaing. The vines are located just outside the appellation but are treated pretty much as those for his Condrieu. Apricot and peach, and a modicum of residual sugar, but a firm mineral-laced finish to demonstrate the master’s skill.
