A ripe, sturdy, exuberantly fruity 1er Cru Côte de Beaune with a well
judged tannic structure, this Maranges is looking for some lamb chops, but
could equally partner a juicy sirloin steak if not smothered in sauce. This
wine has up to five years ahead of it, but the fruit is approachable enough to
make a good glass of wine now.
