2007 Domaine de Coudoulet, Syrah Vin De Pays D'Oc
(code: 68872B)
"Syrah is one of the reasons for the success of Minervois la Livinière in
general and for the success of Pierre André Ournac as a vigneron in particular.
No surprises then , that his Vin De Pays Syrah is an outstanding exemplar.
Farmed on the slopes of the Montagne Noir and vinified without oak, this is a
juicy and richly satisfying Syrah. Blackberry, spice, a little pepper and then
a refreshing palate where the tannins are gentle but present where the finish
is long but clean. Exceptional value." (Simon Field MW, BBR Buyer)
