A chorus of sweet, honied malt and mildly spiced, teasing fruit on the fabulous
mouth arrival.
(Jim Murray's Whisky Bible 2008)
The nose is intense, full of aromas – sherried fruit, tropical fruit, nutmeg and almonds with slight citrus notes at the end, all held together with a vanilla sweet smokiness The palate is full bodied rich and rounded develops slowly into fruity, smoky and spicy flavours. The finish is long, smooth a smoky with a chocolate feel.
