"From the red flint south facing soils of Les Renardieres, just below Les
Cocques and the village of St.Andelain comes this thoroughbred of a
Pouilly-Fume, born of 70 year old vines and elevage in 25% new french 300 litre
tonneaux. Immensely pure and detailed on the nose, with stony, crushed oyster
shell fruit aromatics which are gently supported by a cushion of finest oak.
The palate at this embryonic stage of its life swells with tension, a lovely
weave of shellfish and citrus fruit, sublime ripeness and exquisite balance.
Worth decanting beforehand. Bravo Alain!"
