Product Details
1999 Pol Roger, Brut
(code: 69537B)"A rich forward and wonderfully flamboyant Pol, made from the usual 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay blend, sourced from 20 villages, mostly Grand Cru ( the balance Premier cru) from the lower Montage and upper Côtes and then aged for 48 months. Honied, balanced and finely structured, this is the best 99 Champagne I have tasted so far. Approachable now, but by no means lacking in complexity."
