A fascinating and highly successful interpretation of this Rhone jewel, showing
bright apricot-kernel fruit aromas on the nose while the hefty palate,
hedonistically rich, yet dry (0.25 g/litre residual sugar) and viscous with
honeydew and stone-fruit flavours tapers beautifully on the finish. One for
roast pork definitely. A very true and impressive wine, no doubt thanks to Mt
Veeder's stony soils and elevation.
