The gentle giant Alain Chatoux farms at an altitude of 500 metres; his 60 +
year old vines lending complexity and spicy weight to the naturally ebullient
Gamay variety. 2007 is a vintage to test the best growers; it
should therefore come as no huge surprise therefore that Alain has
succeeded admirably.
