2004 Guado al Tasso Tenuta Belvedere
The 2004 Guado al Tasso is a wonderful Cabernet based Super-Tuscan from the great Marchesi Antinori. Rich, dark fruit is the immediate sensation here with black fruit from the 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, lifted by hints of liquorice from the 10% Syrah. The reamining 40% is made up of Merlot which gives this wine great elegance and lends a certain softness to the tannins on the finish. A delicious package resulting in a full-bodied, yet elegant wine.

2004 Guado al Tasso Tenuta Belvedere
The 2004 Guado al Tasso reveals a layered, nuanced texture filled out by the generous warmth of Bolgheri. Full-bodied and ample on the palate, it offers plenty of sweet dark fruit, licorice, Tuscan herbs and chocolate, with outstanding persistence as well as balance, which is especially evident in a mature use of oak. The 2004 is an opulent and beautifully poised Guado al Tasso that will offer much pleasure over the next decade.
