2007 Ch. La Mondotte, St. Emilion

The jewel of Stephan von Neipperg’s empire (Canon-La-Gaffelière, Clos l'Oratoire), Ch. La Mondotte is 12-acre vineyard that yields powerful super-ripe wines, a blend of blend of predominantly Merlot and  Cabernet Franc.

Ch. La Mondotte shows lovely balance and finesse, with a solid core of ripe fruit, berry and light chocolate. Medium-to-full body, good texture and a fine finish. Excellent length.
